Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Northforged Labs (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit northforged-labs.ca and related marketing pages we operate. Individual products (for example Eave, CaresFor, FieldShare, or Outlier Realty) may collect additional data under their own notices.

Who we are

Northforged Labs is a software studio. Privacy questions go to hello@northforged-labs.ca.

What this site collects

This marketing site is intentionally small. We do not run an account system. We do run a contact form so you can write us without opening a mail app.

• Contact form. If you submit the form, we receive your name, email address, message, and which page or product prompted you. FormSubmit, a free form-to-email service, receives the submission in order to deliver it to hello@northforged-labs.ca.
• Email you send us. If you write to hello@northforged-labs.ca, we receive whatever you include (name, address, attachments, and the content of the message).
• Server logs. Our host may record standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps, used to operate, secure, and debug the site.
• Fonts. We load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may process your IP address and related request data under its own policies.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising pixels on this site.

Cookies

This marketing site does not set first-party analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser may still store cookies from third-party resources such as Google Fonts if those services do so.

How we use information

• To reply to inquiries and operate the business
• To keep the site available, secure, and reasonably performant
• To meet legal, tax, or security obligations when required

Sharing

We share information with service providers who host this site (currently Azure) and, if you contact us, with FormSubmit (to deliver the form) and the providers that deliver that mail. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect people, property, or the integrity of our systems.

Retention

Email is kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and ordinary business records. Server logs are retained for a limited operational period, then rotated or deleted.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to complain to a privacy regulator. Use the contact form or write hello@northforged-labs.ca and we will work through the request.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means the new policy applies.
